Visual Identity Manual:
Editorial José Martí
Corporate Identity
& Graphic Synthesis

This project stems from the need to modernize the visual identity of Editorial José Martí through a symbol with international projection that complements the official seal. The proposal centers on "La Rosa Blanca" (The White Rose), the preeminent icon of Martí's work, transforming it into a geometric synthesis that allows for versatile and contemporary application on book spines and covers.

Visually, the brand embraces an iconic abstraction suggesting movement and openness, translating the delicacy of the author's verses into a universal graphic language. The Corporate Identity Manual developed serves as the project's governing tool, standardizing critical aspects such as the construction grid, chromatic codes, and clear space requirements to ensure the symbol's legibility.

Beyond aesthetics, the manual is a technical instrument designed to ensure visual unity and prevent reproduction distortions. By standardizing application guidelines for stationery and editorial formats, the document protects the institution's image, guaranteeing coherence and professionalism within its global reach.
