Art Direction
& Editorial Identity:
VENA Artisans Artists

This project represents a convergence between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. The challenge consisted of creating an identity and a product catalog for an artist whose pieces —lighting fixtures and objects made from reclaimed wood— serve as the ornamental soul in architectural restoration projects.

The work stands out for its strategic art direction, which seeks to elevate the handcrafted object to a luxury design piece category. A comprehensive photography and retouching process was carried out, focused on capturing the honesty of the materials: the grain texture of century-old wood, the patina of iron, and the warmth of light. These elements were complemented by detailed 3D models that allowed for the visualization of the pieces' integration into complex spatial environments.

Regarding the editorial aspect, the catalog design moves away from the conventional to become an art book. The layout utilizes visual "silence" and sober typography to allow the narrative of each piece —such as "La Roue de la Vie" or "Lumière du Migrant"— to breathe and communicate its own story of travel and transformation. The result is a coherent visual system that dignifies manual craft through impeccable digital technical execution.
