Engaging with Lezama Lima’s Neo-Baroque prose demands a graphic container that respects its density without becoming overwhelming. For this bilingual edition, the interior design was conceived as a dual system where structure and navigation are paramount. The transition between the Spanish and English texts was established through illustrated interior half-titles, serving as visual thresholds to solemnly mark the beginning of each language.

Regarding the cover, the art direction leaned into a powerful curatorial decision: giving full prominence to the author's portrait. A photograph was selected that encapsulates the physical "presence" and overwhelming personality that defined Lezama. Thus, the cover ceases to be a mere wrapper and becomes a direct encounter with the genius, presenting that intense gaze as the true gateway to the Lezamian universe.
